  • We decided to go to this because of reviews and hype from previous years, and I have to be honest we were somewhat disappointed. You are led to believe that you get bucket loads of sweets thrown at you. So we expected to have happy grandkids. This is simply not the case at all. In the past I believe this was so, but nowadays you have to join lengthy queues at various points only to be given a handful. Of sweets - lengthy queues too, so time consuming, so we ended up with only a small bag half filled each. The queues for rides were quite manageable but in truth longer than we experienced during the daytime visits, the parade and show were decent to be fair, but overall we felt that the event was vastly overpriced for what you actually get. Especially as it’s in addition to the 14 day park ticket that we had already purchased. I think that the fact that the event never sold out for the first time in years speaks volumes. People particularly the locals are becoming wise to it. Many may disagree with my comments, but I have given an honest appraisal from our own personal experience .

  • We had been to MNSSHP before, but did not enjoy it as much this time as we had done previously. It was far too busy and not the experience we had hoped for. The wait times for rides were just as long (if not longer) than they had been during the day, and the treat lines were huge too. We enjoyed the shows, although it was really crowded and difficult for some of us to see, and the parade, and where we realise those aspects are what you’re paying for with this ticketed event, it just felt like it had been “over-sold” and was not worth the money we had paid.

  • Brilliant fun! Our 3rd MNSSHP event did not disappoint! Most ride times we waited were incredibly quick, the longest we waited was for Tron which was 30 mins but the 2nd time we rode it was around 20mins long. We came back as a family of four with a HUGE candy hall (it’s been 2 and a half weeks and we still have loads left). We managed to ride 14 rides during the party and catch the parade and fireworks show as well as meet some cool characters along the way! Well worth the spend!!

  • A great evening out for the family. Queues are quieter, the parade and fireworks are fantastic, the atmosphere is perfect. Would definitely recommend.
